The February edition of Flipside is now in (and available on the main library desk) – it has RoboCop on the front cover so it’s hard to miss! The article inside is about the making of the film and the special effects, but also about the real police robots that are being developed to perform some of the more menial police tasks. RoboCop could be real in the future.

I liked the article about how to rock climb by jamming your hands and knuckles into cracks in the rock, although it sounds extremely painful, and is possibly only for the truly dedicated. The one about the top ten deadliest reptiles was fun too, especially because none of them actually live in the UK…
