On Monday the 7th of March West Calder High School S2s received a visit from Philip Caveney aka Danny Weston, the author of Mr Sparks, Seventeen Coffins, the Crow Boy and more. He talked about Edinburgh and its history as this is where a lot of his books are set. He also talked about how he became an author, as he wrote short stories but they wouldnt sell so he decided to write longer ones, he also read to guys in his dorm. At end he took part in a question session.
Mrs Vennall told us that all his books have been taken out from the Library since his visit.
